Software continues to crash while editing photographs

It crashes every time I click to add an effect. ALWAYS.

I purchased this app sometime ago and it has never worked. Crashes constatly and without reason. I have contacted the PhotoMagic Support and received no feedback. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase this app! I want my money back or fix the problems.

I started editing some photos and thought it was pretty awsome until I went to apply some filters. It shuts down every time I try to apply. Not sure what’s up with that.

This app has never worked on my 2016 MacBook Pro. There is such a blunt lack of support that it isnt even funny. I contacted the developer twice over the course of a month, including screenshots of the app crashing, as well as a screenshot(and text document) of the Problem Report and no response. With no response I attempted the troubleshooting I would know on my own, uninstall, reinstall, check for updates of the app as well as MacOS, and finally rebooted the computer. With no assistance from the developer I promptly contacted Apple for additional troubleshooting who instead issued a refund for the issue. I accept the refund, however I would have rather it came out of the seller’s pocket instead of Apple’s.

If this app operated like it should it would be fantastic, but it doesn’t. I have a mac book with OS X Yosemite and it will not give me all its vintages and worst of all I cannot save any of my pictures once I’ve completed my work with the app rendering it useless. If I cannot save or print my work its no good to me. Have asked for help, but can’t seem to get it. It was a wasted 11.99 which is to bad because its seems to be a great app otherwise.

Not able to use the Function buttons other then the Vignette option at the bottom of the screen while working on a photo. Not worth $11.99. Seems like an app that would be similar to one of the Free apps offered in the past. Im on Mountain Lion OSX so the later OSXs certainly arent going to work properly, as the prior review indicates already. How about a refund?? The other app effects features have little to no variances to see much of a change when working on a photo. The frame option doesnt include frame or mask titles so I could note myself as to what frame or mask I had used for later references. Waste of money unless they fix the app.

I have purchased other software from Softease so I wanted to give this new software a try … the filters are very bland as are the frames and what makes things worse is that for $9.99 theres no adjustments to any of the filters so youre stuck with some effects that could be toned down. At this price range, the app should deliver more to the supporters of your app … maybe future enhancements and refinements will merit a 5 Star rating for now, 3 Stars is being generous.

Cool app to make cool photos with few clicks. But expecting to improve some effects in next update.

So everytime I choose an effect my computer freezes up and it takes forever. Everytime I try to export a picture is quits. I love the effects, just wish it worked :(

I got the free version and it is fantastic. It is very simple to use , and yet there are so many creative ways to manipulate your photographs. Just click around on the options and turn an ordinary picture into something extraodinary.

Extremely disappointed with this app. Can only load one photo at a time and when saving, it goes to documents.

Its a little distressing that sometimes you have to risk your money in order to find out that a piece of software is nearly worthless. PhotoMagicPro is basic run-of-the-mill tools, and a few--very few--presets / filters, which in turn are blah, run-of-the-mill. Let my little $10 sacrifice not be in vein; heed this warning to avoid this waste of hard-earned money.

This is such a shameful app. I quite possibly would enjoy it….if It Would Launch! But…Never. Not one time. -- Do Not waste your $10.

I bought the app and it keeps saying it couldnt install. I know its not my laptop because i downloaded 8 things before it and 4 things after. I have been re-trying to install it for days. It still wont work. A complete waste of my money.

I really love playing with this app. Only thing that would make it better would be to be able to control the intensity of some of the effects.

I found this program very diffiuclt to work with-did not offer the features I expected with a paid program. I am now purchasing another photo ap to complete a project. A waste of time and money.
